acronis true image 2017 mac no mountable images

At least on the off chance their is some data corruption other than a complete failed backup disk, most of my data would still be accessible wheras now I cant get at any of it. This leads me to conclusion that I may as well use standard file copy procedures to replicate date from one drive to another. Now its no longer mountable, retrieveable, basically cant do anything with it. It would appear after a few mounts of the image, its this process that knackered the. The image was then used several times using the mount option and a few odd indiviual files were pulled from image several times. The image was created and validated and all okay. The machine this operated on has been operational for the past days. The hard drive this was stored on doesnt have bad sectors neither is it an external hard drive via usb that could have become corrupted by pulling the USB drive out whilst file read/writes were still in progress. Now this file is inaccessible the whole 490gb of data is lost. Otherwise, I'll go elsewhere.The issue I have here is I thought the idea of Acronis is to make backing up and restoring yoiur hard drive in an event of failure a simple task.Ĥ90gb of data was backed up to a single file. However, I will reconsider using Acronis IF they come out with a fix for TI2015 and notifies me of that. Thanks again for your help, but I plan to move on to another backup utility. So, I plan to find another backup program and migrate to that since Acronis has quality issues. I have been using TI since 2010, upgrading each year, and never had a problem until TI2015 which clearly, in my opinion, is not ready for prime time. I then had enough of TI2015, and I ran the cleanup utility again, restarted and installed TI2014 which worked without a problem. I restarted, tried to open TI2015, and the same error message appeared. I clicked it again, and then I got an error message, and the program froze.

But, when I tried to run the Drive C: image backup, it wouldn't run - I clicked backup now and nothing happened. True Image was listed in the right pane in Windows Explorer, and I was able to view the contained files. I then created the backups (Drive C: image, Data and Image files), and ran a backups for the Data and Image files, which were successful. was not in the keys listed, restarted the computer, and reinstalled TI2015. As an update, I did run the 2015 cleanup utility, verified that 'snapman' etc.
